Parkway Consumers Co-operative invites applications for a
Agro Driver/Clerk at our Agro Centre in Roblin, MB

What you’ll do:
This is a full-time position reporting to the Agro Manager. In this role, the Agro Clerk will participate as a member of the Parkway Co-op Ltd. organization to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Agro Centre, including:

• Operate the delivery unit in a safe and lawful manner.
• Practice safe handling of products, and other equipment at all times, including completing daily truck and trailer safety checks. Verify that the product type(s) and quantity(s) match the delivery manifest before travelling.
• Ensure the timely delivery of all products. Deliver and place products according to the customer’s desires, while ensuring a high level of safety is maintained. Confirm that all products delivered are invoiced correctly.
• Load or assist in loading materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading bulk chemical and fertilizer at the facility, safely and efficiently by using the forklift.
• Work co-operatively with all departments and suppliers.
• Yard and facility upkeep.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
• You must have a valid Class 1A driver’s license.
• You have exceptional customer service skills with high housekeeping standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must supply current Commercial Drivers Abstract.
• WHMIS and TDG certification will be provided.
• Must be a safety conscious, team player.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, long hours and with various start times, including weekends and evenings.
• Agricultural background an asset.
• You place a strong importance on Health & Safety policies and procedures.
